Golden Sands School first opened its doors in 2011 in the beautiful coastal area of Pāpāmoa. Our school is purpose built as a contemporary learning environment using flexible spaces and collaborative teaching to deliver high quality educational programmes. A number of the original buildings have been either extended or remodelled as the school has catered for roll growth over the years.
Our Learning Communities are each named after New Zealanders who have demonstrated leadership qualities. They are Cooper, Batten, Sheppard, Mahy, Rutherford, along with our bilingual community, Te Rito. We are committed to ensuring that every student is a valued part of our caring and inclusive school.
