Enrolment Procedure

We opened our doors in February 2011.  We are a new state of the art school designed for 21st century learning just a few blocks away from the beach down in Papamoa East. 
 
We are passionate about creating the very best learning environment for our students, teachers and the community, and we welcome you to come and and meet with us so that we can take you for a tour around our school.
 
To enrol your child please collect an Enrolment Pack from the school office at 26 Golden Sands Drive, Papamoa, or download the Information Booklet, Enrolment Form  & Cyber Safety Agreement on this page.  You can email all enrolment documents to office@goldensands.school.nz
 
When bringing in your enrolment form, please attach the following documents:  
  • Proof of Address in school zone (current Power Bill)
  • NZ Birth Certificate/NZ Passport; or Foreign Passport and Student Visa if you are not a NZ citizen
  • Immunisation Record
  • Cyber Safety Agreement (in Enrolment pack)
 
We encourage parents to enrol their child(ren) when they turn four years old.  Once enrolled, you will be able to keep up to date with what’s happening at our school through the e-mailed newsletter.  Early enrolment also helps us to plan the number of New Entrant rooms we need throughout the year.
 
All New Entrants will come for 3 school visits to help them transition to school, these visits are on Thursday’s.  The school will contact you to arrange the visits.
